Bunny Gal is growing so fast till Bunny Mum and Bunny Dad are having hard time to cope with it. It is an happy event seeing her growing up but deep down we miss the babyness in her badly.
Today is her 1st day attending unaccompanied Playschool. All of us including Bunny GongGong, Bunny PoPo were super excited about it for the past 1 week. Bunny PoPo packed her school bag a day in advance and make sure Bunny Mum double checked the contents (extra set of clothes, 2 diapers, tea set, water bottle) again. Bunny Mum even polished Bunny Gal’s shoesl while Bunny Po Po busy ironing Bunny Gal’s clothes and playing mix & match (which top goes with which skirt/pants). Bunny GongGong commented that he never be so excited before and he didn’t even take part in Bunny Mum’s 1st day of school from kindy all the way to post grad.
In order to ensure Bunny Gal has sufficient sleep and wakes up by 7.30am in the morning, Bunny Mum put her to sleep at 10pm and moving forward her sleeping time will be fixed at 10pm except Friday and Saturday. Despite this arrangement is better for Bunny Gal for long run, this could also mean there will be shorter bonding time with Bunny Mum and Bunny Dad since we will only reach home around 8.30-9pm.
Bunny Gal & her classmates
All these while, Bunny Gal takes a long while to warm up in any new places or dealing with strangers. While all of us thought Bunny Gal will glue to us in the playschool, to our surprise she only stick to Bunny PoPo for 1st 5 mins or so. After that she sat down and started play with some toys all by herself. She was ok even Bunny Po Po stepped out from the classroom. Bunny Mum and Bunny Dad were busy peeping from outside as we do not want to distract her nor let her know we are around. We are afraid she will turn sticky again once she sees us.
“Teacher, please help me!” said Bunny Gal

Besides playing all by herself, she also responded to the instructions given by the teacher and followed accordingly. She was comfortable with the teachers too (1st time meeting them) and allowed them to hold her hand and guided her in different games. There were other kids in the playclass crying out loud and yet Bunny Gal just ignored the noise and continued with her own activities. What a big surprise to all of us with her being so independent.
It is time for story telling and drinking water
Bunny Gal’s 1 year of training in Julia Gabriel’s PlayClub must have moulded her to be an independent kid, got her used to a playschool environment and taught her to share with other kids, respect teachers and take instruction from teachers. In fact, these are the kind of soft skills that Bunny Mum would like Bunny Gal to acquire from playschool instead of knowing her ABC or 123.

Bunny Gal – Mummy is very proud of you!
